The Bowers & Wilkins A7 is the big brother of the A5 model, providing an increased output from it's superb speakers. It's a discreet system that fits just about anywhere and allows simple streaming of music wirelessly via Apple's Airplay®

This state-of-art system uses advanced digital signal processing to delivery high-quality lossless audio where the subtleties of your music are preserved regardless of how loud you put the volume.

Airplay wireless streaming allows you to stream your music directly from an iPhone or iPod without using a docking station, you can also stream music from your PC or Mac iTunes library. No messy cables or docking stations just the music from your own music collection by streaming it directly to the Bowers & Wilkins A7.

Build your very own multi-room audio system by using multiple A7 devices or combining with the Bowers & Wilkins A5 or Zeppelin Air. Your music can then follow you as you move from room-to-room, a simple to setup and intuitive and multiroom system.

Measuring only 22cm x 36cm x 16cm the A7 is quite a compact system, however don't be deceived by the size as the A7 is designed to deliver spacious sound that fills a room with beautiful high quality music from superb high-end speakers.

Besides the ability to play your music collection wirelessly onto the A7, you can also use your favourite music apps, like Spotify,, Mixcloud and more to listen to your favourite music or internet radio.

Bowers & Wilkins A7 and A5 Differences

We are often asked what is the difference between the B&W A7 & A5? The main difference is the speaker arrangement and output that those speaker provide.

  • The A7 provides a combined output of 150W from it's two 1-inch Nautilus tube aluminium tweeters, two 3-inch mid-range speakers and a powerful 6-inch subwoofer.
  • The A5 provides a combined output of 80W from it's two 1-inch Nautilus tube aluminium tweeters, and two 4-inch mid/low range drive units.

​There is also a difference in the size of the units, with the A7 being slightly larger (to accomodate the subwoofer):

  • The A7 measures 22cm x 36cm x 16cm
  • The A5 measures 18cm x 30cm x 12cm
