Build your very own multi-room audio system by using multiple A5 devices or combining with the Bowers & Wilkins A7 or Zeppelin Air. Your music can then follow you as you move from room-to-room, a simple to setup and intuitive and multiroom system.

Measuring only 18cm x 30cm x 12cm the A5 is quite a small and compact system, however don't be deceived by the small size as the A5 is designed to deliver spacious sound that fills a room with beautiful high quality music from superb high-end speakers.

Besides the ability to play your music collection wirelessly onto the A5, you can also use your favourite music apps, like Spotify,, Mixcloud and more to listen to your favourite music or internet radio.

Bowers & Wilkins A5 and A7 Differences

We are often asked, what is the difference between the B&W A7 & A5? The main difference is the speaker arrangement and output that those speaker provide.

  • The A5 provides a combined output of 80W from it's two 1-inch Nautilus tube aluminium tweeters, and two 4-inch mid/low range drive units.
  • The A7 provides a combined output of 150W from it's two 1-inch Nautilus tube aluminium tweeters, two 3-inch mid-range speakers and a powerful 6-inch subwoofer.

​There is also a difference in the size of the units, with the A5 being slightly smaller (as it doesn't have a subwoofer):

  • The A5 measures 18cm x 30cm x 12cm
  • The A7 measures 22cm x 36cm x 16cm
